"Back to the Future" in Concert
Aug. 2. Filene Center is hosting the National Symphony Orchestra for a celebration of the beloved movie classic, "Back to the Future." Twenty minutes of brand-new music will be included, added by award-winning composer Alan Silvestri. In addition to the performance, the full feature film will also be projected on screens throughout the center.

Musical Petting Zoo with Bach 2 Rock
Aug. 5. The Kings Park Library is offering a fun chance to learn about musical instruments up close and encourage kids to get more interested in music. They'll be able to engage with numerous instruments, including guitar, drums, keyboard and more.

Enchanted Forest 70th Birthday Celebration
Aug. 9-10. The Enchanted Forest opened on August 14, 1955. Clark's Elioak Farm - Petting Farm, Produce and Meat, Farming is celebrating the wonderful Storybook Park's years of entertaining the families of Maryland and beyond on this 70th anniversary. Adler Display (the company that created most of the Enchanted Forest buildings and characters in collaboration with the Harrison family) will join us. We will have a BOOK SIGNING for "The Enchanted Forest: Memories of Maryland's Storybook Park." Princesses will be visiting the farm. We will welcome Little Toot back to the farm with a ribbon-cutting at 11 AM on Saturday. Come see all your favorite attractions from the original Enchanted Forest in their new home at our farm.
